Yu Chen LAc

 

Dr. Chen is a traditionally trained Chinese medicine (TCM) physician skilled in classical pulse and tongue diagnoses as well as herbal prescription and acupuncture. Her area of specialty includes women's health, fertility and gastrointestinal problems. She graduated from Shandong Traditional Chinese Medical College in China in 1983 and was an attending TCM physician at the Fourth Hospital of Jinan in China till 1994. She further specialized in acupuncture at the prestigious Chinese Academy of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Beijing, China in 1987-88 and is currently licensed as an acupuncturist in the State of New York.

 

Dr. Chen is also a diplomate in both acupuncture and Chinese herbology as certified by the National Certification Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (NCCAOM). She is devoted to clinical practice and has been conducting research as an Associate of the Institute of East-West Medicine in the efficacy of acupuncture as a treatment for infertility.
